solve r-2.5=9

OpenStudy (anonymous):

11.5

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thanks

OpenStudy (amistre64):

.... good way to promote the study of the material :/

OpenStudy (anonymous):

What?

OpenStudy (amistre64):

kimmy has pretty much turned this site into a free answering service. If you do not know HOW to work a solution to this type of problem, then just giving you 11.5 does nothing to help you learn the material

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no I knew how just wanted to make sure I was right

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@amistre64 If she wanted to know how to solve it she could/would have asked. you cannot force a person to learn/ask

OpenStudy (amistre64):

:) good luck then

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Because when it says subtract you have to add and when you have to subtract you have to add

OpenStudy (amistre64):

kimmy, you come to a site that promotes learning the material as opposed to just handing out free answers. You dont get to choose to break the Code of Conduct for this site on a whim.

OpenStudy (amistre64):

yes, to maintain the equality of an equation, what you do to one side has to be done to the other to keep things balanced out. in order to solve for "r" we would have to add 2.5 to each side

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Thanks

OpenStudy (amistre64):

;) youre welcome
