Find the limit. lim x->3 (sqrt(x+6) -x)/(x^3-3x^2)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

easy way to solve it is through graphical approach...best and quick

OpenStudy (anonymous):

have you studied l'Hospital's rule?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

not yet

OpenStudy (anonymous):

l'Hospital's rule is probably unnecessary for this limit but might make it easier to find which is why I want to know if @LimitsandStuff can use this method before delving into it deeper

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok//?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Use L'hopitals rule to solve it. Differentiate the numerator and denominator separately and substitute the 3 into and you will get 0.5 as an answer
