How does the type of bond(single, double, triple) affect the bond length?

I think I figured it out. LOL.. the more electrons involved the shorter the length???

Well a single bond is weaker than a double bond, just like holding onto someone trying to run away is easier to do by holding on with two hands instead of one. Now if you have a stronger bond to something, then the more closely it is held. What you said is somewhat true. The more electrons shared between the two atoms, the more closely they are held together.
