Cells are structures that carry DNA but are designed to perform different functions. The DNA is the genetic code but does not determine the function of the cell. ** Hope this helps.. :D

It's all about "gene expression." I'll explain that in a second. See, all of our cells have the same DNA. The same genes. The question already tells us this. But even though every cell has the same genes, some of the genes are turned ON, while other genes are turned OFF. For example, let's talk about the cells in our eyes. In our eye cells, the genes that are responsible for making proteins that help us see are turned ON, while the genes for making the proteins to help us breathe are turned OFF. You get it? Once again, even though all of our cells have the same genes, some genes are turned ON, while other genes are turned OFF. It all depends on what kind of cell it is.
