A quiz consists of 10 multiple choice questions. Each question is marked either “right” or “wrong.” Each right answer gets 5 points, and 1 point is taken off for each wrong answer. What is the correlation between the number of right answers and the number of wrong answers

OpenStudy (johnweldon1993):

umm...well for every right answer..it's 5 points....for every wrong answer...1 is subtracted from that total...so let r = right and let w = wrong 5r - 1w meaning 5 points for every right answer...minus 1 point for every wrong answer don't know if this is what you're looking for

What do you mean by 'correlation'?

OpenStudy (johnweldon1993):

OpenStudy (anonymous):
