4, 1 could be distinguishable from 1, 4 because we're rolling the same die twice, but: 1,1 2,2 3,3 4,4 5,5 6,6 are six indistinguishable outcomes, giving us 36-6 = 30 outcomes.

@Directrix the question appears to be dealing with only one die being rolled twice, not two dice.
There is no way to tell apart 1,1 from 1,1 if you roll the same die twice, or if you roll two dice of the same colour.
