Which produces anaerobicly, cooked or uncooked yeast? Please explain your answer. Medal for who ever gives the best answer.
I THINK it's through the process known as fermentation.
well i have to write up a lab where i add cooked yeast to lime water and see if carbondioxide is produced and do the same with uncooked yeast
anaerobicly
If you cook the the yeast, such as bread making, then the process outputted would be aerobic through oxidation of glucose. The output product would be carbon dioxide, which causes the bread to be soft and sponge-like. If no cooking is done, then it would be known as fermentation. Take a look at this chart: http://is.gd/FhovyL
so shouldnt the two mixtures of cook yeast and uncooked yeast each with lime water both be cloudy after aerobic and anaerobic respiration?
Yeast + Lime Water = Milky through fermentation. Take a look at: http://is.gd/tUaLa3
how about cooked yeast + Lime water? i understand u said they produce carbon dioxide aerobicly but not through fermentation?
cause that equation u gave me is for uncooked yeast since it is through the process of fermentation correct?
