I'll tell you one thing: You really don't have to start all of your sentences with "you." If I wanted to give you a command, in English, I would say...."Study hard." I wouldn't say "You study hard." You know? So it'd be better to leave out the "Tú" at the beginning of each command. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~ It looks to me like you know how to make positive commands. Let's talk about your first one. To say "study hard," we would say "estudia MUCHO." Not "duro." Because "duro" means "hard," like LITERALLY "hard." Like a hard rock. You get it? So, "Estudia mucho" is what we would say. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Let's talk about your second one. To say "pay attention," we would actually say "PRESTA atención." "Pagar" means "to pay," but more in the monetary sense. Like paying with money. "Pagar dinero." ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ If you wanna say "write cleanly," you'd actually say "escribe limpiamente." And yes, we would have to say "cleanly," and not "clean," because in this case, we do need to use an adverb. "Cleanly" is an adverb. On the other hand, it'd probably be okay to just say "escribe bien." "Write well." ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ To say "Be respectful," we would say "Se respectuoso." "Se" is the command form of "ser," which means "to be." ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ To say "read the instructions," we would say "Lee LAS INSTRUCCIONES." Plural. Remember that.

For the fourth one, it would actually be "Se respetuoso." Sorry, I misspelled it.

Let's talk about your negative commands now. Your first two negative commands are perfectly fine. ~~~~~~~~~~~ Let's talk about your third negative command. To say "do not disrespect others," we would say "No hagas una falta de respecto a ortos." It literally means, "Do not make a lack of respect toward others." ~~~~~~~~~~~~ And finally, let's talk about your fourth negative command. To say "Don't run," we would actually say "No corras." "No corra" is okay. It's just formal. The way we would talk to an adult. Not another student. You know?

Don't run in class. – No Corras en clase. Don't disturb others. – No interrumpes otros. those is where i missed, yes i just realized the Tu at every beginning is a bit repetitive, With your help give me 2 minutes and can you check them again in 1 minute?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Sí. Yo te espero.

Must study hard. – Estudia mucho. Must pay attention. – Prestar atención Must write clean. – Escribir limpiamente. would it be better to writ (write neat?) or the way we have it? Be respectful. – Se respetuoso Read instructions. – Lee las instruccións. Don't sleep in class. – No duermas en clase. Don't eat in class. – No comas en clase. Don't disrespect others. – No hagas una falta de respecto a ortos. Don't run in class. – No Corras en clase. Don't disturb others. – No interrumpes otros. Is this better?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Better. Sí. There are two mistakes though. ~~~~~~~~~~ To say "pay attention," as a command, we would say "Presta atención." Not "prestar." Remember to conjugate the verb. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~ And to say "write cleanly," as a command, we would say "escribe limpiamente." Again, remember to conjugate "escribir" to "escribe."

Thank you very much! I appreciate your time and help! Aha Some of them were weird to me because of the way i learn spanish not knowing all the right words

OpenStudy (anonymous):

It's okay. Was English your first language too? Because sometimes we do make the mistake of translating too literally. You're welcome though.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yes, french background but only know simple french etiquette

Well good luck with your Spanish.
