how to factor -35a^3b^4+10a^2b^3-15a^3b^2.. Please help, explain if you can.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok first put the whole thing in parenthesis and try to pull out the common factor for the constant on each term

OpenStudy (anonymous):

(-35a^3b^4)+(10a^2b^3)-(15a^2b^2)????

OpenStudy (anonymous):

put the whole thing in parens so (-35(a^3b^4)+10(a^2b^3)-15(a^2b^2)) then find what they have in common it coudl also be helpful to write a^3 as a*a*a
