Simplify the expression
\[\frac{ 3^{7} }{ 3^{5} }\]
3^2 you subtract the exponents
I tried that but when I went to see if my answer was correct.. it wasn't one of the answer choices..
what answer choices are they?
OpenStudy values the Learning process - not the ‘Give you an answer’ process Don’t post only answers - guide the asker to a solution.
\[A. 3^{35}\] \[B. 3^{12}\] \[C. \frac{ 1 }{ 3^{9} }\] . \[D. 9\]
And don't worry @skullpatrol, I usually ask the person "how" they got their answer and then to explain if I don't understand
And she explained her first answer by telling me to subtract the exponents. So....
hmm well i doubt your'e supposed to add them cause if not that would of been b. i don't get the other answer choices though? hmmm...
I know right, I don't see how they can even be possible
yeah, math is just not right! ._. Lol
Lmao I can't wait to be done with it in like.... 10 years -.-
3^2 = 9 right? So I believe it would be D. But idk if u guys are joking. In that case I'm sorry
Yes $$3^2=3*3=9$$
Ohhh we forgot the extra step, thank you everyone.
