Help!!!! 4x = 6(x - 4) x=
Firstly distribute 6 to (x-4)...
once you do that then get the x's on the same side..then divide.
4x=6x-24
then get the x's on one side, so subtract 6x from each side.
Now, subtract 4x both the sides..
thats the part where im stuck at? can someone help draw where im supose to do this step
subtracting 4x would put the variable and numbers on the same side, subtracting 6x will get them on opposite sides and less steps.
Or you can subtract 6x from both the sides also... Do in whatever way you like them most..
See, here Subtracting 6x will look like this: \[4x - \color{red}{6x} = 6x - 24 - \color{red}{6x}\]
