PLEASE HELP!!!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

simplify?? first, find the LCD

OpenStudy (anonymous):

2x +y (2x +y) is this correct for the top part? @syhna

OpenStudy (anonymous):

wait..... the denominator will be 4x^2 - y ^2 right? so on the top part you should have ... wait

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Ok, sorry for confusing you If I did it wrong

OpenStudy (anonymous):

2x(2x+y) - (4x^2+y^2) + y(2x-y)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

simplify the top part

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So for the top part I got 2(-2x^2 + x + y^2) and for the part down I got -4(x-1) x-y^2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@syhna Is it correct? And what should I do next?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

2x(2x+y) - 4x^2+y^2 + y(2x-y) / 4x^2-y^2 4x^2+2xy-4x^2+y^2+2xy-y^2 / 4x^2-y^2 so the answer should be 4xy / 4x^2 - y^2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

that is how i simplify it first, i should find the LCD next, does the same thing done in adding/subtracting fractions lastly, simplify try t do it on other questions. :)

Thank you very much! I will I will !! I have to because I struggle very much :(
