PLEEEEEEASE HELP!
do you know What's an indirect proof?
yes, assuming that the opposite of of what we are trying to prove is true, right? @amir.sat
yes and then ...
For 11 would A be correct? @amir.sat
yes
but what next?
for question 12 I don't know :( Maybe B or D? not sure @amir.sat
Indirect proof is a type of proof in which a statement to be proved is assumed false and if the assumption leads to an impossibility, then the statement assumed false has been proved to be true.
this maybe help u : http://www.icoachmath.com/math_dictionary/Indirect_Proof.html
I understand the concept of the theorem, but I am not sure which answer I would choose @amir.sat
'cmon if the assumption leads to an impossibility that mean a contradiction then the statement assumed false has been proved to be true.
@amir.sat would D be correct then?
g II c just when m< 1 = m< 2
Aaaaaaa gosh :( I am such a loser. C is correct!!! right?
oh gosh u were right at first
Yeah I am sorry for bothering you :(
if u wanna prove it indirect first we assume that our prove is wrong that mean G||C so after that as jhonyy9 said m< 1 = m< 2 but the information tell different that mean a contradiction so G is not parallel to C
