Well you do you know to work out what is within the absolute value lines?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@spimentel do you need help working out what is within the lines?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

all of it

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i keepon getting the wrong answer

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok well ignore the lines for now and lets do ....\[-9-10=?\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

well since they are both negative you just add the negatives like this \[-9+-10=\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

-19

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok now you have |-19|x|8-6(-8)|

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so just get absolute value of -19 which is 19

OpenStudy (anonymous):

then do the other side so -6 x -8=+48 Then you have |8+48|=56

OpenStudy (anonymous):

19+56=?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i mean 19 times 56
