Can someone help m solve this...

@Mertsj

OpenStudy (mertsj):

We have to be able to read the statement like this: x=3 if and only if x^2=9 which means x=3 if x^2=9 and that is true but then we have to turn it around: x^2=9 if and only if x = 3. That, of course, is not true. Because x might be -3.

OpenStudy (mertsj):

So try that with the others and see which one works.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@Mertsj ok

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@Mertsj so would it be the first one?

OpenStudy (mertsj):

Did I not just go through the first one in detail and explain why it wouldn't work?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@Mertsj ohh sry, im really bad at this

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@Mertsj i think its the last one, am i correct? because 19 is the only solution for the equation

OpenStudy (mertsj):

Yes. Good for you

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@Mertsj thanks
