Someone help with Division of Polynomials?! :] PLEASEE NEEED SOME HELP TRYING TO GUIDE THROUGH IT , /:
These are the questions ! Can anyone help me work through them im dying for help !:[
ok for first question take x common in numerator and cancel of x in denominator
These are the answers I got for it can you just tell me if their right or not ? 1. A 2.C 3.A 4.D
number 2 is D
but the rest are right?
3x( 2x^3 + 3x +4)/3x
im now checking the others
3. C
7x^3y (2x^2y^3 + 3y)/ 7x^3y
thxxx!!
4. B
Can u help me with the last one ??
Create a unique example of dividing a polynomial by a monomial and provide the simplified form. Explain, in complete sentences, the two ways used to simplify this expression and how you would check your quotient for accuracy
just make ur own example :)
as for the explaination part i cannt really help lol
aghhh im like brain dead ill ask someone to help me with making the example.
ok ill make the example, i dont mind and if u want feel free to ask me for more help :)
u want me to give a complicated one? it might im press the examiner? :P
or just a normal one?
any kind , I just want a good grade /:
this is what I've put for it ... is this okay? 16x^3+ 8x^2 + 4x + 4 / 4x and then the answer would be 4x^2 + 4x + 2 ... A polynomial jus means more than 1 like number on the top so I used 4 in my example I'm not really sure about the two methods to simply but you would check it for accuracy by plugging in a number for x
u there?
Use this instead (16x^3+ 8x^2 + 4x) / 4x 4x^2 + 2x +1
ok , but the explanations good?
to check for accuracy you expand the simplified form to see if u would get back the original question.
dont put "in my example I'm not really sure about the two methods to simply but you would check it for accuracy by plugging in a number for x" cause i dont want ur examiner to think u dont know wat ur doing. Just replace this with wat i just said before put into ur own words or some thing, ok?
thanks so much .
