It is in step 2 he made a mistake. Harry calculated (−1)2=−1 when he should have calculated (−1)2=1

umm, thats not even a step here. the -1 is added to the 48 to make 47, its not multiplied by 2

Step 2 is wrong. It should be a positive 1. Not a negative 1. It is squared making it positive.
