What values of "b" make the expression x^2+bx+81 a perfect square trinomial?

OpenStudy (mertsj):

A perfect square trinomial is a binomial squared like this for example: (x+3)^2 or (y-5)^2

OpenStudy (mertsj):

So if yours is going to be a perfect square trinomial, what would we have to put first to get x^2 and what would we have to put last to get 81?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

(x+9)^2?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

And sorry for not having replied quick enough. :P

OpenStudy (mertsj):
