help please How do you know if a binomial is a factor of the polynomial? Create two sample problems that have a binomial which IS a factor of the polynomial being divided, and another problem that has a binomial which is NOT a factor of the polynomial being divided

work backwards

for example \((x+2)\) will be a factor of \((x+2)(x^2+x-1)\)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

whereas \(x+2\) will NOT be a factor of \((x+2)(x^2+x-1)+5\)
