Use the slope and y-intercept to graph the line. y=3x+2. Please help! I cannot figure this out at all
What do you think the slope of this line is?
Remember what the slope-intercept form of a line means? You have that there, so you have been goven both the slope and the intercept. That should give you one point, the y intercept. Then you can use the slope to find a second point. After that, draw a line that passes through both points.
so in this question u know the slope through the line equation. A line equation formula is mx+b where m= rise/run= slope since the question is in this form the slope = 3 to find the y intercept x=0 therefore y intercept= 2 so you know that this is going to be a linear line therefore now u can graph this. For better understanding of the graph what i would do is as follows:-|dw:1365910008492:dw| Hope this helps
