I need help as soon as possible. I have this problem i dont understand how to do, i need to find the perimeter of a triangle and it only gives me the base, which is 16, and then the height of 15, ill attach a picture, i cant figure out the answer

the possible answers are 50 units 47 units 48 units 46 units I know the answer is not 46 units. Please helpp. :)

Okay the formula to find the perimeter is 1 / 2 x b x h, if you know the base and the height you take it and times it by 1/2.

So you would take 15*16*1/2=P

That is the formula for the area @ Speedy_Jazz. Since the base is 16 and the height is 15. You can find the length of the hypotenuse by 8^2 +15^2=c^2, So c=Sq rt (64+225)=Sq rt(289) which is 17. Then, your perimeter is the sum of the two sides of equal length and the base. 17+17+16=50 units

Oh alright i understand, thank you :) both of u guys for helping,
