does anybody know how to Simplifying Radicals

Factor the radicand and break out multiples that match what root it is.

For example: \[\sqrt{4}\Rightarrow \sqrt{2\cdot 2}\Rightarrow 2\]That is the simple example. Now what about one where something is left? Well, lets look at some other number. \[\sqrt{60}\Rightarrow \sqrt{5\cdot 3\cdot 2 \cdot 2}\Rightarrow 2\sqrt{15}\] Only the 2s are in a pair, so they are the only ones I can take out of the square root. If it was a cube root, I would need sets of 3 to get them out.
