Does each neuron specialize in a certain kind of neurotransmitter, or do neurons contain every possible type of neurotransmitter? Or do some have several different kinds of specialized neurotransmitter?

From what I've been reading doing a project about neurons and their ability of transporting information, there should be 4 major systems of neurotransmitters, they are: * The dopamine system. * The norepinephrine system. * The cholinergic system. and * The serotonin system. Each system have different targets and thereby different effects, it might be worth to look at the generally tendency of the systems.

I believe it's a mix. Each neuron has the capability to many different things, usually, so based on which neurotransmitter in which concentration, it'd probably be different. I think some may be specialized to a single neurotransmitter, and some may have several, a mix of every possible combination, if you know what I mean.
