another example: if you had a square, you can rotate that 4 times (until you have fully rotated a full revolution) and the rotated figure will match up with the original figure each of the 4 times
so the angle of rotation of a square is 360/40 = 90 degrees
ie each 90 degree rotation produces the same original figure...nothing has changed
