In a function, every ordered pair has to have a different x-coordinate. If you have two ordered pairs with the same x-coordinate, remove one of the ordered pairs to get a function.

@mathstudent55 can you help me with this one?

OpenStudy (mathstudent55):

The domain of a function is the set containing all the x-coordinates of all points in the function.

OpenStudy (mathstudent55):

For point B, x = 0 For points A, C, and E, x = 1 For point D, x = 2 The only x coordinartes are 0, 1, 2, so the domain is {0, 1, 2}

OpenStudy (mathstudent55):

sorry, gtg

@mathstudent55 thanks man
