As all faces are equal, then, find the surface of one of them. \[S=2\times l=2\sqrt{3}\ in^2\] Then, \[S_{total}=4\times2\sqrt{3}=8\sqrt{3}\ in^2\] For the volume, \[V=\frac{1}{3}Sh=\frac{1}{3}2\sqrt{3}\frac{2\sqrt{6}}{3}=\frac{4\sqrt{2}}{3}\ in^3\]
