If the linear equation 3x = 9 − 2y is written in standard form, what is the value of B?

I know standard form is y = mx + b but I'm not sure how to put it in standard form unless it would be something like:
-2y = 3x + 9 but I really don't think that's right.

yes. you'll have to rearrange it into -2y = 3x - 9 then into y = -1.5x +4.5

division by -2 of the entire equation.

or divide by 2 and change the signs

i think the b is the one without the x, i.e. 4.5
