\[\frac{ 9 }{ h+1 }>9\]
First you multiply both sides by (h+1)
Now I have 9>9(h+1) What is the next step?
Then you have the following: 9>9(h+1)
Then: 9>9h+9

Then just solve for h?
thats not correct, you multiply by (h+1)^2 on both sides to get 9(h+1)<(h+1)^2
Can you take it from there?
then you get 9h+9<h^2+2h+1; which goes to 0<h^2-7h-8 and factorises as 0<(h+1)(h-8)
You get 9>9h+9 -9 -9 then h<0

h>8 and and h<-1
you cant multiply by an unknown not knowing if it is a negative
oops i got the inequality the wrong way round so its then you get 9h+9>h^2+2h+1; which goes to 0>h^2-7h-8 and factorises as 0>(h+1)(h-8)
-1<h<8
