try with a couple of sample points on both sides of x = 0. E.g -5, -2, -1, 1, 2, 5 Is the function defined at x = 0?

no, not a parabole. You done need graph paper, just make draw x/y coordinate on a blank paper, add 5 units in each direction, fill in the sample points f(-5) = 10/-5 = -2 f(-2) = 10 / -2 = -5 f(-1) = 10 / -1 = -10 f(1) = 10 / 1 = ? f(2) = 10 / 2 = ? f(5) = 10 / 5 = ?
