A monomer undergoes addition polymerisation. A 1 mol sample of the monomer is completely polymerised. How many moles of polymer might, theoretically, be formed? a 1 b 10^–6 c 1/6.02*10^23 The answers are b and c but I'm not sure why. Please explain! :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Since 1 mole contains avogadro number of molecules i.e. 6.023 x 10^23 and all the molecules are joined together, the number of moles will be 1/6.023 x 10^23. But only one polymeric molecule results.

but why is the answer c as well?

Actually C is the answer and not B
