How do you find a limit from a graph?
i assume you're referring to the limit at x=3?
pretty confusing in this example looks like it should be 2, but the open circle looks to be a little bit lower than 2
the open circle on the bottom is 1 1/2
@completeidiot would that make it -2;6 ?
ok if we're trying to find the limit as x approaches 3 from the left sides, you want to look at the line on the left side of x=3, and follow it until it reaches x=3 and that point will be the limit if you're trying to find the limit as x approaches 3 from the right side you want to look at the line on the right side of x=3, and follow it until it reaches x=3 and that point will be the limit as x approaches 3 from the right
I do not know where you're getting -2 and 6 from
@completeidiot it is one of my options for this question :\
sheesh... it told you how you solve it and yet you still guess DONT GUESS
it would also help if you stated the entire problem
@completeidiot that is the entire problem. do you need the options?
I had a mix up with the options.
