You are given 9 numbers . so you will be constructing a 3 x 3 magic square

You do it using a wrap around technique. Lets number the cells with rows and column first.|dw:1370233130054:dw|

We are going to use a technique called a wrap around technique to fill in all the numbers given to you. First start filling the cell C12 with the smallest number which is 6. So C12 = 6 To fill the next number you have to move one cell up and then one cell to the right. As you see there is nowhere to go up since you are already in the upper level. This is where wrap around comes into play. Going one up from C12 will actually land you in C32. From there one cell right is C33. Fill this cell with the next smallest no. which is 8 So C33 = 8. Now you repeat this up and right movement again. Up is C23 and right will take you to C21. Fill this with next smallest = 10 C21 = 10 Now if you repeat up and right you will end up in C12. But C12 is already filled. So go straight down from C21. Which will be C31. Fill this with next smallest. = 13 C31 = 13 Now again up and right will be C22. Fill it with 15 C22 = 15 Again up and right will be C13 . Fill it with next number 17 C13 = 17 Again Up will be C33 and right will be C31. But C31 is already filled. So go straight down from C13 to C23. Fill it with next no. 20 C23 = 20 Now up and right again. Up is C13 and right is C11. fill it with next no. 22 C11 = 22 Now up and right will be C31 up and C32 right. Fill it with 24 C32 = 24. Now you have filled in all squares using all the numbers given to you. So your square will look like this. |dw:1370233737066:dw|
