create a function using three input-output pairs that have the same output value but different input values. Use “Show function test” to verify that your relation is a function. What is the domain of your function? What is the range of your function?

OpenStudy (jim766):

just make 3 ordered pairs (x, y), (x, y) and (x, y) where each x is different, but each y is the same. just make it up. (3, 9), (4, 9), (5, 9)

OpenStudy (ddcamp):

In Jim's example, the function could be y = 9. The domain is all real numbers, and the range is y = 9

Okay.. But for the other questions that ask what is the domail of your function ? and what is the range of your function? How would I do that?

OpenStudy (jim766):

domain are just the x's, which x's are in my function? range are just the y's, which y's are in my function?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Domains are 3.4.5 and the range is 9

OpenStudy (jim766):

perfect!

Okay thanks!
