How to change font size here? :D

OpenStudy (anonymous):

example, change font this sentence \[{\color{Purple} \star }{\color{Red} F}{\color{DarkRed} O}{\color{Cyan} R}{\color{Orchid} E}{\color{Golden} V}{\color{DarkGreen} E}{\color{Emerald} R} \ {\color{Emerald} A}{\color{Blue} L}{\color{Magenta} O}{\color{DarkGreen} N{\color{Red} E}}{\color{Orchid} \star }\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@thomaster @saifoo.khan

mathslover (mathslover):

\(\tiny{{\color{Purple} \star }{\color{Red} F}{\color{DarkRed} O}{\color{Cyan} R}{\color{Orchid} E}{\color{Golden} V}{\color{DarkGreen} E}{\color{Emerald} R} \ {\color{Emerald} A}{\color{Blue} L}{\color{Magenta} O}{\color{DarkGreen} N{\color{Red} E}}{\color{Orchid} \star }} \) \({\color{Purple} \star }{\color{Red} F}{\color{DarkRed} O}{\color{Cyan} R}{\color{Orchid} E}{\color{Golden} V}{\color{DarkGreen} E}{\color{Emerald} R} \ {\color{Emerald} A}{\color{Blue} L}{\color{Magenta} O}{\color{DarkGreen} N{\color{Red} E}}{\color{Orchid} \star }\) \(\large{\color{Purple} \star }{\color{Red} F}{\color{DarkRed} O}{\color{Cyan} R}{\color{Orchid} E}{\color{Golden} V}{\color{DarkGreen} E}{\color{Emerald} R} \ {\color{Emerald} A}{\color{Blue} L}{\color{Magenta} O}{\color{DarkGreen} N{\color{Red} E}}{\color{Orchid} \star }\) \(\LARGE {\color{Purple} \star }{\color{Red} F}{\color{DarkRed} O}{\color{Cyan} R}{\color{Orchid} E}{\color{Golden} V}{\color{DarkGreen} E}{\color{Emerald} R} \ {\color{Emerald} A}{\color{Blue} L}{\color{Magenta} O}{\color{DarkGreen} N{\color{Red} E}}{\color{Orchid} \star }\) \(\huge {\color{Purple} \star }{\color{Red} F}{\color{DarkRed} O}{\color{Cyan} R}{\color{Orchid} E}{\color{Golden} V}{\color{DarkGreen} E}{\color{Emerald} R} \ {\color{Emerald} A}{\color{Blue} L}{\color{Magenta} O}{\color{DarkGreen} N{\color{Red} E}}{\color{Orchid} \star }\) \(\Huge {\color{Purple} \star }{\color{Red} F}{\color{DarkRed} O}{\color{Cyan} R}{\color{Orchid} E}{\color{Golden} V}{\color{DarkGreen} E}{\color{Emerald} R} \ {\color{Emerald} A}{\color{Blue} L}{\color{Magenta} O}{\color{DarkGreen} N{\color{Red} E}}{\color{Orchid} \star }\)

mathslover (mathslover):

`\(\tiny{}\) ` `\({}\)` `\(\large {} \)` `\(\LARGE {} \)` `\(\huge {} \)` `\(\Huge {} \) `

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yep, I see :)) For new paragraph?

mathslover (mathslover):

\(\textbf{Hi} \\ \textbf{Here. } \) Like this?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yes :D by use \] ?

mathslover (mathslover):

Hi \(\bf{Machida}\) Hi \[\bf{Machida}\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[\bf{Thanks}\] \[\bf{Mathslover}\]

OpenStudy (aravindg):

\[\Huge \color{Lime}{~\:\:\:\:\:\:\:\:\:\:\:\:\frak OMG\:\:\frak\:\:\frak Machida!!\frak }\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@mathslover but its not like text "hi here" by you before?

mathslover (mathslover):

Because I changed line there. `\\ ` this makes the difference.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

show me screenshoot your work maths xD

OpenStudy (aravindg):

yep just add //

OpenStudy (aravindg):

\[hi \\ hi\]

mathslover (mathslover):

Right click on my LaTeX code.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh i see :D

mathslover (mathslover):

and then you will see some options, go to tex settings

mathslover (mathslover):

not sure, whether it is tex settings or something else, my mathjax has crashed , so I am unable to see latex codes. @AravindG please make sure whether it is tex settings or something else.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

add // where? omg omg

mathslover (mathslover):

`\[\bf{Hi} \\ \bf{Here.} \]`

OpenStudy (anonymous):

let me try \[\bf{Hi} \\ \bf{Here.}\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

omg work

mathslover (mathslover):

After right clicking on the latex code, you should see following (check attachment) ,. go to tex commands.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yep array, but your text doesnt show me \bf{Hi} \\ \bf{Here.} :DD just hi//here

mathslover (mathslover):

Here is the step : Right click on latex code. go to "Show math as" And then click on "Tex commands"

mathslover (mathslover):

Check it again Machida, it shows me : \bf{hi} \\ \bf{Here.}

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yep, I use it when first time learn autodidact about Latex, :D

mathslover (mathslover):

LaTeX is fun. You'll not feel hard to learn it. Though, I am always here to help u with LaTeX .

OpenStudy (aravindg):

For more detailed reference: \\ start a new paragraph. \\* start a new line but not a new paragraph. \- OK to hyphenate a word here. \cleardoublepage flush all material and start a new page, start new odd numbered page. \clearpage plush all material and start a new page. \hyphenation enter a sequence pf exceptional hyphenations. \linebreak allow to break the line here. \newline request a new line. \newpage request a new page. \nolinebreak no line break should happen here. \nopagebreak no page break should happen here. \pagebreak encourage page break.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

see what array write, its different with math

mathslover (mathslover):

I used : \bf{} to make that bold, while AravindG kept it simple.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

look, so different :D

OpenStudy (anonymous):

but when I use Array's way, it doesnt work :)

OpenStudy (aravindg):

o.o

mathslover (mathslover):

let us know ur code of array

OpenStudy (anonymous):

medal for all of you :D

OpenStudy (anonymous):

look my image of code array above

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Oh, work now.. xD

mathslover (mathslover):

:) Good.

OpenStudy (aravindg):

lol Good work ;)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Muchas gracias :))

mathslover (mathslover):

आपका स्वागत है. Aapka svaagat hai. (You are welcome)

thomaster (thomaster):

lol @AravindG none of those work here except for \\ (new line) :P

OpenStudy (aravindg):

extra information ;)

mathslover (mathslover):

lol "extra information" ...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

teach me again, how I can combine text and latex text in one paragraph. see, i cant :/ \[thomas\] teach me ://

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@mathslover :DD

mathslover (mathslover):

Please explain more.

mathslover (mathslover):

\(Hello \\ Machida\) `\(\Hello \\ Machida \) `

mathslover (mathslover):

Code : \(\text{ Hello \\ Machida }\)

mathslover (mathslover):

Like this : Thomas \(\text{Teach me} \) ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yep, like dat :D

mathslover (mathslover):

"Type your text here" `\(\text{include latex code here} \)`

mathslover (mathslover):

Here is how to do that : `Hello \(Machida\) ` Try it.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Hello \(maththslover\)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

what the different use ( and [ ?

mathslover (mathslover):

If you use `\[\]` then it will take you to next line, check the following code : `Hello \[Machida\]` Try it.

OpenStudy (e.mccormick):

Inline ( stand alone [

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Oh ya :D Thanks \({Mathslover\)

OpenStudy (e.mccormick):

Stand alone also changes how fractions, integrals, and matrices work, so it can be very useful.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Thanks for info @e.mccormick :) omg i m wrong :/ but its show new box lol

mathslover (mathslover):

Thanks \[Mathslover\] Thanks \(Mathslover\)

mathslover (mathslover):

Machida, `Thanks \[mathslover\]`

OpenStudy (e.mccormick):

If I use inline, I get this: \(\int \limits_a^bx^2dx \text{ and } \frac{a+\frac{1}{2}}{b} \text{ and } \left[ \begin{matrix} a&b\\c&d \end{matrix}\right ]\), which kind of squishes things a bit. Also the flow of text gets funky. But let me do stand alone with \[\int \limits_a^bx^2dx \text{ and } \frac{a+\frac{1}{2}}{b} \text{ and } \left[ \begin{matrix} a&b\\c&d \end{matrix}\right ]\]

mathslover (mathslover):

Here : \(\cfrac{a+\cfrac{1}{2}}{b}\)

mathslover (mathslover):

Actually you should use : \cfrac rather than \frac.

OpenStudy (e.mccormick):

Yes, I know about cfrac, frac, and dfrac. However, there are more chanegs than just the fractions. In fact, the sums and limts can get really moved a lot when done inline.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

emm okies, I'll try :)) ███████████████████████████████████ ███████████████░░░░░███████████████ ███████████████░░▒░░███████████████ ███░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░███████████████ ███░░▒░░▒░░▒░░▒░░▒░░███████████████ ███░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░███████████████ ███████████████░░▒░░███████████████ ███████████████░░░░░███████████████ ███████████████████████████████████ ███░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░███████████████ ███░░▒░░▒░░▒░░▒░░▒░░███████████████ ███░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░███████████████ █████████░░▒░░█████████████████████ ███░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░███████████████ ███░░▒░░▒░░▒░░▒░░▒░░███████████████ ███░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░███████████████ ███████████████████████████████████ ███░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░███████████████ ███░░▒░░▒░░▒░░▒░░▒░░███████████████ ███░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░███████████████ ██████░░▒░░████░░▒░░███████████████ ███░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░███████████████ ███░░▒░░▒░░▒░░▒░░▒░░███████████████ ███░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░███████████████ ███████████████████████████████████ ███░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░███████████████ ███░░▒░░▒░░▒░░▒░░▒░░███████████████ ███░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░███████████████ ███████████████░░▒░░███████████████ ███░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░███████████████ ███░░▒░░▒░░▒░░▒░░██████████████████ ███░░░░░░░░░░░░░░██████████████████ ███████████████████████████████████ ███░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░███████████████ ███░░▒░░▒░░▒░░▒░░▒░░███████████████ ███░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░███████████████ ██████░░▒░░█░░▒░░██████████████████ ███░░░░░░░░█░░░░░░░░███████████████ ███░░▒░░███████░░▒░░███████████████ ███░░░░░███████░░░░░███████████████ ███████████████████████████████████ ███░░░░░█░░░░░░░░░░░███████████████ ███░░▒░░█░░▒░░▒░░▒░░███████████████ ███░░░░░█░░░░░░░░░░░███████████████ ███░░▒░░█░░▒░░█░░▒░░███████████████ ███░░░░░░░░░░░█░░░░░███████████████ ███░░▒░░▒░░▒░░█░░▒░░███████████████ ███░░░░░░░░░░░█░░░░░███████████████ ███████████████████████████████████

mathslover (mathslover):

Yep.

mathslover (mathslover):

You're welcome Machida.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\(\cfrac{x+\cfrac{y}{6}}{8}\) yep work xD

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[\cfrac{x+\cfrac{y}{6}}{8}\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i use ( and ]

OpenStudy (e.mccormick):

Here is another difference between them. \(\sum _{i=1}^5x^2\) \[\sum _{i=1}^5x^2\] BTW: You can right click the \(\TeX\) code, go to Show Math As, and select TeX Commands to see any of the code here.

OpenStudy (zale101):

{\color{Green}\textit{Hi Macida}

OpenStudy (zale101):

i didn't do it correctly :(

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[{\color{Blue} Zale}\] use \[ \[ \] and \]

OpenStudy (zale101):

\[{\color{blue} Machida)\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[{\color{Purple} Z}{\color{Magenta} A}{\color{Orange} L}{\color{DarkGreen} E}\]

OpenStudy (zale101):

{\color{blue}Machida}\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

right-click on my "zale". then click "show math as" "text commands"

OpenStudy (zale101):

oh ok

OpenStudy (zale101):

\[{\color{blue}Machida}\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Nah, :))

OpenStudy (zale101):

:D i did it, finally

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\({Hi}\) Zale

OpenStudy (zale101):
