In how many ways can I organize this numbers: (1,1,0,0,0)?

OpenStudy (amistre64):

how many options do you have for picking the first element?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I thought that could be: 2*2*1*1*1, but it's not

OpenStudy (amistre64):

2 is correct, a 1 or a 0, but i think this might be simpler if we just use the formula: \[\frac{n!}{k!r!}\]

OpenStudy (amistre64):

there are 5 elements total, 5! there are 2 and 3 elements alike: 2!3!\[\frac{5!}{2!~3!}\]should be it

OpenStudy (amistre64):

5.4.3.2 ------ 3.2.2 5.2 = 10

OpenStudy (amistre64):

00011 00101 01001 10001 00110 01010 10010 01100 10100 11000

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yes, that was the answer!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (amistre64):
