A student has taken two math tests. On the first, he received a score of 46 out of 50 questions correct, and on the second, he received a score of 27 out of 30 questions correct. What is the experimental probability that the student answered a question correctly?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I would actually like to know this one, too.

@NykyrianAlexander good lol

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yeah, I'm horrible at math. @RedDevil

@dan815 help us please

OpenStudy (dan815):

okay so how many right questions does he have in total

OpenStudy (anonymous):

73

OpenStudy (dan815):

out of how many total questions

OpenStudy (dan815):

hello, how many questions are there in total and how many right answers are there in total

OpenStudy (dan815):

did u already figure it out :)

OpenStudy (whpalmer4):

There are a total of 50+30 = 80 questions, of which 46+27=73 were correctly answered. The experimental probability would be correct answers / number of questions.

it was a test on the cpu and it skipped me cause i was on break @dan815

OpenStudy (whpalmer4):

@RedDevil You aren't supposed to be using OpenStudy to get test answers!
