find the solution of the inequality -27< 3 - 6x < 3 - graph the inequality and write the solution set this is a line graph
the first less than sign is less than or equal to
Isolate 'x', keeping in mind that when you move something from the middle you will need to apply it on both sides of your inequality and when you divide by a negative you must switch the direction of your inequalities.
Yeah bring -3 to both sides and divide both sides by -6. Ooh the signs are going to flip in this problem!!!
Hi :) Well to simplify and make things easier, we get: -27 < 3 - 6x < 3 By subtracting 3 from all sides, -30 < - 6x < 0 Multiply by -1: 30 > 6x > 0 Divide by 6: 5 > x > 0 There you go :)
Note that you need to flip the "<" sign to ">" when you multiply by a negative number :) have a nice day :)
jones you are the best :D
xD hope you understood that :)
how do i graph it though

im suposed to put it on a line graph and get the solution sets
You would have to graph on a number line.
