Why electron revolves only in those orbits for which the angular momentum of the electron is an integral multiple of h/2(pi) where h is plankss constant (its value is 6.626x10-34 j.s)?

because in standing wave ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Standing_wave) condition the electron is described by a wave and a whole number of wavelengths must fit along the circumference of the electron's orbit. if it is not the multiple of h/2pi the, simply the wave can not be closed in a circle.
