help with substition? 3y − 2x = 11 y + 2x = 9 I know that I have to change the second equation to y = 9 - 2x and then put in into the first equation like 3 (9 - 2x) − 2x = 11 but i am stuck after what to do now.

distribute --> 27 -6x -2x = 11 combine like terms --> -8x = -16 ...
