Using a value of Ksp = 1.8 x 10-2 for the reaction PbCl2 (s) Pb+2(aq) + 2Cl -(aq). The concentration of the products yield a Ksp of 2.1 x 10-2: A.Ions are recombining to form a solid precipitate. B.The concentration of the products is expected to decrease. C.The concentration of the products is expected to increase. D.The concentration of PbCl2is expected to increase. E.It is not possible to have a system with Ksp> 1.8 x 10-2.

@summerforever21 can you help?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

is it Ksp or stp cus of never heard of Ksp

OpenStudy (anonymous):

nvm I got it

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh okay i was gonna say stp

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ions are recombining to form a solid precipitate. Solids aren't measured using concentrations but the AMOUNT of PbCl2(s) is expected to increase. It IS possible to have a system with Ksp > 1.8 x 10^-2 -- if you increase the temperature, then solubility and Ksp are both increased

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no sorry didnt mean to confuse you its A)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh no its not your fault(: thankyou (:

OpenStudy (anonymous):

okay sorry still but your welcome glad to help :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

you're like the only one that's actually helped me understand everything lol

OpenStudy (anonymous):

well thats good I use to be very bad at chemistry to but then i studied and i got it. believe me it was hard but you will get it your smart

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thankyou (: i'm slowly getting there haha this site helps alpt because people explain everything.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

lol thats good just stay true to youself inside and out and you will get far in life :D
