OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (anonymous):

just checking people here

OpenStudy (loser66):

I really don't know. I know 0^0 is undefined only. anyway, I want to open my eyes this time

OpenStudy (anonymous):

crap i was just going to write you a whole paragraph of why that is undefined TOO LATE NOW

OpenStudy (anonymous):

why though?

OpenStudy (espex):

It is undefined because a negative exponent equates to a base in the denominator of a fraction. In other words, \(0^{-1}\) can also be written as \(\frac{1}{0^{1}}\) which gives you \(\frac{1}{0}\) and leaves you with a divide by zero.
