How do you find the Volume of a disc with radius=z and depth=a? I have problems substituting it into the formula.

OpenStudy (jhannybean):

Are you using the Washer Method?

OpenStudy (espex):

A disc, with a depth, is just a cylinder. The volume of a cylinder is \(V=\pi r^2 h\). In your example, with no numbers, you simply plug in your letters, \(V=\pi z^2 a\)

@eSpeX in otherwords V=Pizza LOL

OpenStudy (anonymous):

get it?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

pi zz a= πz2a

OpenStudy (espex):

Yeah, hilarious.
