Simplifiy the expression 3y-2x+ x -2x+3(x+y)
must get rid of the parenthesis first
Can you help me please?
I can try, to get rid of the parenthesis you must multiply x and y with 3 3y-2x+x-2x+3(x+y) 3y-2x+x-2x+3x+3y Then combine like terms
Idk I suck at math.. :,(
combine 3y with 3y =6y combine -2x with x =-1x combine -1x with -2x =-3x combine -3x with 3x = x answer 6y+x
But that's None of the answer :(
I knew it was 6y but its none of the answers listed
hold on ill find out what it is
A. -x + 4y + z B.-x + 6y + z C.x+ 4y + z D. 3x + 4y + z
Those are the answers above you post^

I just checked it and the answer is 6y idk I would go with b. what are you taking?
It would either be 3(x+y)-3x+3y or 6y ._.
Your answer choices have z, is your problem written out correctly?
Ik it's 6y.. I'll try it. Thanks
Well I just want to make sure that your question is written correctly, seeing as none of your answer choices match what we got.
