Please check my answer!! Use graphs and tables to find the limit and identify any vertical asymptotes of the function. lim-->1 1/(x-1)^2 vertical asymptote x=1 1/0 limit= no limit

OpenStudy (johnweldon1993):

Vertical asymptote = correct But technically there is a limit....you can see from the graph which judging by that equation looks something like |dw:1371764888789:dw| it looks like they approach something right? from the left and the right side they seem to go to ......?

on the zero line?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

or infinity? i have no idea lol

OpenStudy (johnweldon1993):

No this is where they go when you approach 1 on that x-axis....so as you get closer and closer to 1 on that x-axis...where does the graph seem to go? |dw:1371765152424:dw|
