(5x2 + 3x + 4) -(2x2 + 5x − 1) do it like normal suptraction 3x2 -2x + 5

OpenStudy (anonymous):

might be easier to remove the parentheses first and start with \[(5x^2 + 3x + 4) − (2x^2 + 5x − 1)\] \[5x^2 + 3x + 4− 2x^2 - 5x +1\] then combine like terms either way

19x +5
