HELP PLEASE ANYONE!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (jack1):

if c<0 then c must be a negative number if d<0 then d must be a negative number negative / negative = positive ie if c = -6 and d = -2 then c/d = -6/-2 = 3

OpenStudy (jack1):

does that help...?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

What?! @Jack1

OpenStudy (jack1):

i dont really understand your steps method there, sorry, i understand the maths and it makes perfect sense to me that -ve / -ve = +ve, but as for labelling each of the steps on how you get there according to it's mathematical description... i'm out, sorry, it's just... one step, it that makes sense

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I have to label the steps... but anyway thanks!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@Jack1 Can you help me label them?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

For step three for example, would B be correct?

OpenStudy (aykayyy):

i think 20 is C... is tht what you were thinking? and why do you think 19 is B?

OpenStudy (aykayyy):

and i do think... that by elimination you could come to the conclusion that 19 is B.... im not 100% sure because i learned these properties and proofs years and years back

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@aykayyy Thanks for your help :) Yes I also thought that 20 is C, but for 19 I am not 100 % sure also :(

OpenStudy (aykayyy):

i'd go with B because im pretty sure the others are wrong haha

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I was thinking that 19 might be D ?

OpenStudy (aykayyy):

umm actually you may be right! because the step is basically showing that the right side gets multiplied by 0 and becomes 0.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Thanks a lot! :) Hopefully I am right! :(:(
