wait it is C.
OpenStudy (anonymous):
other protists are more like fungi because they decompose dead organisms.
OpenStudy (anonymous):
In forests and woodlands, slime molds phagocytize, and thereby help dispose of bacteria and dead plant material. In contrast water molds are parasitic both in the water and on land. Both slime molds and water molds are heterotrophic but beyond that they have little in common. Their designation as “molds” is only due to their general appearance and they differ significantly in structure from the molds classified as fungi.
THATS WHY ITS C)
