what are the zeros of the polynomial function f(x)=x(x-4)(x+9)

OpenStudy (kirbykirby):

x=0, x=4, x=-9

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thanks

OpenStudy (kirbykirby):

You have to think what will make your function f(x)=0 since x, x-4, x+9 are all factors, only 1 of them needs to be 0 to get f(x)=0 Hence: x=0 x-4=0 x+9=0
