OpenStudy (kirbykirby):

Think of how you can go from the x value to the y value. If you you have y = 8 for x =2, can you think of an operation that does so from the list given?

OpenStudy (jazzyfa30):

just put each number into each equation whuch ever one comes out perfect is your answer

OpenStudy (anonymous):

:D lemme try both of those i may figure it out idk who to give da medal i fan kirby already doe

OpenStudy (jazzyfa30):

just give it to @kirbykirby i dont want nothing from you

OpenStudy (anonymous):

looks like you are cubing the first number to get the second one

OpenStudy (anonymous):

is it b?

OpenStudy (kirbykirby):

x = 2 ---> 8? you can get help from the equations given and plug in each equation and see which one will give 8 Or notice a pattern... you can see that we are cubing each time

OpenStudy (jazzyfa30):

yes

OpenStudy (kirbykirby):

B works for x=2, y = 8... but it doesn't work for x=3, y = 27

OpenStudy (jazzyfa30):

oh shoot you right my b

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ohhhh

OpenStudy (kirbykirby):

You have to make sure it works for all sets of points (x, y)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok :)

OpenStudy (kirbykirby):

=]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

got it :)

OpenStudy (jazzyfa30):

y are u mad at me @ChiefSosa3Hunna
