What is an ATP molecule, and why is it important?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ATPs are the things our body runs on or our body's energy. When we use up that energy, it turns into an ADP, which we do by eating, and other things. "ATP's are the things we run on. Like batteries, and when those batteries are used up, they become dead batteries, or ADPs until they are recharged by broken down food in the cell." ATPs consist of adenine, sugar (ribose), and three posphates. An ATP energy is used when one of the phosphate bonds are broken, making them become ADPs

ATP is the energy packet basic

without Atp we'd be died

"without ATP, we'd be died." That's right. We'd be died, man.
